Shower Screens

Shower Screens

Shower Screens are an essential addition to any bath or shower installation. They prevent water spraying out of the bath and help to create a cleaner, tidier bathroom. The shower screens we sell can also provide privacy and are available in a range of stylish designs. They’re also easier to clean than traditional shower curtains, making them a great choice for those who want to minimise the amount of time they spend cleaning their bathroom.

Unlike shower curtains, which can be quite bulky and obstructive, glass shower screens provide a more sleek, modern look that elevates your bathroom aesthetics. We have a wide range of frames and glass colours to choose from, so you can easily find a shower screen that suits your bathroom style. If you’re trying to make your bathroom appear larger, a clear or frosted glass shower screen can be a fantastic solution, as it can instantly open up your space and make your bathroom feel bigger.

The majority of our shower screens have a frame, however we do stock some completely frameless options too. These give a minimalistic look that works well in most bathrooms. They’re more suited to modern, contemporary style bathrooms but can be incorporated in other types of bathroom too. We stock a variety of single and multi-fold options as well, so you can select the perfect type of shower screen to suit your needs.

One of our most popular styles of shower screen is the Crittall style. This is framed with black metal and has vertical and horizontal mullions that form gridwork over the glass, giving a very classic look. This is a great way to bring character to your bathroom, particularly in period properties or if you’re working with a vintage style theme.

We also offer a sail style shower screen which is shaped like the outer part of a boat sail. This is the latest design in shower screening and is a unique option that really catches the eye. It’s a bolder choice and may not be suitable for all bathrooms, so it’s worth considering your space before choosing this type of shower screen.

Once you’ve chosen the shower screen you want, it’s important to think about how you’ll get it in to your home and install it. This is especially important if you opt for a fully frameless shower screen as these are generally much heavier than other styles. We recommend speaking with our team if you have any questions or concerns about installing a new shower screen, as they can guide you through the process.

It’s important to note that all the shower screens we supply are a minimum of 8mm thick and toughened safety glass. This is treated by heat to change its internal molecular structure and makes it 4-5 times stronger than normal glass. This treatment is essential when supplying a glass shower screen as it ensures the safety of any users. All shower screens have a ‘nominal’ width stated which allows for tiling and any adjustments to the wall profile (the piece that fixes the screen to the wall). This means that your actual glass panel will be slightly smaller than the nominal size.
